How two cats and a lifetime of love became Osaka Cat Care.
My name is Lawrence, and my partner is Yuka. We first met in Australia, and like a lot of people who end up building something meaningful together, we didn't start with a business plan. We started with two cats.
Our home has been shaped by Mimi and Kuro. Mimi came into our lives first and quickly became the kind of cat who turns any space into a "home" simply by being in it. Kuro arrived in a very different way. He was a stray who showed up at our doorstep one day. No announcement, no warning -- just a small life quietly asking for a chance.
We didn't know his story. We only knew what we could see: he was hungry, cautious, and unsure whether to trust. So we did the simplest thing we could -- fed him, gave him warmth, and made the choice to show up for him every day. Over time, that cautious stray became family.
Today, Kuro is 12 years old.
If you've ever loved a cat, you know that trust is everything. Cats don't give it automatically. They watch first. They decide in their own time. And when they finally trust you, it's not because you forced it -- it's because you earned it through consistency, patience, and care.
That lesson became the foundation of Osaka Cat Care.
We created this service because we understand what it feels like to leave your cat behind. Whether you're traveling, working long days, handling family responsibilities, or simply needing help keeping your cat's routine stable, the hardest part isn't the logistics. It's the question in the back of your mind: "Will my cat be safe? Will they be understood? Will they be cared for the way I would care for them?"
We built Osaka Cat Care to answer that question with action, not marketing.
We focus on calm, cat-first care. We follow routines closely. We watch for changes that owners would notice -- appetite, litter habits, energy, behavior, stress signs -- because small changes matter. We provide photo updates and visit reports not as a gimmick, but because transparency is how trust is built. We treat your home with respect, and we treat your cat like the individual they are, not a checklist item.
And this is only the beginning.
Our long-term dream is bigger than a sitting service. One day, we want to open a stray cat shelter cafe -- a place where hungry cats can be safe, warm, and loved, and where people can meet them in a peaceful environment that supports adoption and long-term care. Kuro's story is a reminder to us that a single act of kindness can completely change a life. We want to multiply that impact -- one cat at a time.
If you choose us, you're not just booking a visit. You're trusting two people who learned, firsthand, that love for cats is proven by how you show up when it's inconvenient, uncertain, or difficult. We will care for your cat with the same patience and attention we give to Mimi and Kuro -- because that's what every cat deserves.
Thank you for considering Osaka Cat Care. We look forward to meeting you and your cat.
